ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection

There’s a very exciting reveal if you’re a Disney or ColourPop fan, and it’s the news that the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection could be happening.

Whenever ColourPop sneak peek a collection around Christmas / Halloween, the comment section is filled with guesses of a ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection, and after how popular the Revolution Nightmare Before Christmas collection was, I couldn’t wait to see what’s included within the ColourPop version.

So what was the first hint that the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection was happening? Well a video was shared by ColourPop with two Jack in the boxes with a pumpkin and a cat jumping out of them with the following caption;

Holidays are about to collide… 🎃🎄💥

So there was only one possibility, and that’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The biggest hint is the ‘Jack’ in the boxes, and then a pumpkin and cat, with the mention of holidays colliding – Halloween and Christmas.

The ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection features absolutely amazing packaging, with black light activated packaging, which can be seen glowing under a black light.

Now, a black light isn’t included within the collection, but if you do own one, the packaging will look incredible. I can’t recall ColourPop ever doing black light activated packaging before, so that’s super cool.

So when does the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection launch? Well, there isn’t a lot of buildup on this collection, as it’s launching on Thursday at 10am PT.

So we don’t have long to wait. PLUS, it’s launching at ULTA on the 31st of October, which is perfect for a Halloween Vs. Christmas collaboration.

ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Palette

OK, so what’s included within the collection? The first product in the collection is the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Palette. This is a twelve pan palette, with shades inspired by the movie.

The shades in the palette are;

  • Zero
  • Meant To Be
  • Dear Friend
  • In My Bones
  • Pumpkin Patch
  • Christmas Town
  • Frog’s Breath
  • Dr Finkelstein
  • What’s This
  • Sandy Claws
  • Everybody Scream
  • Halloween Town

Two of the shades in the palette feature a raised pan embossed design, and it’s a pretty colourful palette. Some of the comments on social media have mentioned the random hot pink, and no inclusion of green for Oogie Boogie, but I still think it’s a pretty palette.

Next in the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection is the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Trio Of Terror Jelly Much Shadows Set.

Each of the three jars have a face on the lid, which are black light activated, and the shades included within the trio are;

  • Lock (bright purple)
  • Shock (vibrant fuchsia)
  • Barrel (looks to be a duochrome brown and green)

To go with the Jelly Much Eyeshadow Trio, there’s also the Master of Fright Glitterally Obsessed Gel, which looks to be lilac with lots of holographic glitter.

The next product in the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection is a sheet of face crystals with 72 crystals. I kinda think these are a little random, and don’t fit the theme of the collection.

They do look pretty though, with a pink and lilac iridescent finish, but I’m not sure face crystals complement The Nightmare Before Christmas. I think it would have been better for there to be some Super Shock Shadows or something instead?

Possibly the cutest product in the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection is the Zero Blending Sponge. It’s a black teardrop shaped beauty sponge, with Zero The Dog printed on to the sponge.

If you love lipsticks, the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection features three lipsticks, and wow they’re the coolest product/s within the collection. There are three lipsticks, and each lipstick comes with a tree ornament decoration for your Christmas Tree.

I can’t get over how cool these ColourPop Luxe Lipstick Decorations are, and the fact you’re getting a decoration to hang on your tree is just amazing.

Each of the three lipsticks have an amazing Nightmare Before Christmas raised design on the bullets, and the swatches all look very pigmented and opaque.

I think these lipsticks will be the most popular pieces in the collection, because everyone’s going to want the Christmas tree decoration ornaments.

It looks like we can buy the shades individually, and the three shades and characters on offer are;

The last two products in the ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection are the BFF Liquid Liners, with two shades in black and white.

They’re liquid eyeliner pens, which look to have a satin finish. In the swatches shared above, the two liners look very pigmented, and the two shades are;

The ColourPop x Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection is amazing, and I think the packaging on everything looks incredible.

I feel like ColourPop really missed the opportunity to make mirrors, as they would have been insanely popular, but I just love the black light activated packaging, and Christmas decorations, and the collection will be available right here.
