ColourPop are killing it with the collections and collaborations right now, and the ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection has been unveiled as being their new and upcoming collaborative collection.
Whenever ColourPop team up with Disney, it’s a guaranteed success, and for a spring themed collection, I couldn’t think of a better property to collaborate with than Bambi for the #DisneyBambiandColourPop collab. The last ColourPop x Disney collection was in collaboration with Hocus Pocus as part of their Halloween collection.
The full ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection was today at 10am PST on the ColourPop Instagram page. They did a sneak peek video initially on their TikTok account, just like they did when they unveiled their amazing Animal Crossing Collection.
It’s such a clever way to get exposure on the new collection, and quick! It’s already on the trending page, and I can totally see why. It’s amazing! So we can see sneak peeks of the products within the ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection, and it looks so spring-like and beautiful.
So what do we know about the ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection? Well we can see the packaging on every single product is a cute pastel yellow, lime green and lavender, and the flowers in the TikTok video complement the products and the packaging perfectly.
Would a Bambi collection be complete without false lashes to give you a wispy doe eyed look? They are so wispy, with a crossover effect for extra volume and texture to the lashes. It looks like they might be called Oh Deer too!?
They appear to have a flexible, black cotton band for easy application. Also, they’re not winged out at the edge like most false lashes. It looks like they are longer in the centre of the lash band, and get shorter towards the edges.
Next in the ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection, there are three ColourPop x Disney Bambi Eyeshadow Palettes – one of which is named Flower, one is named Bambi, and one is named Thumper. Each of the three palettes contain five, long rectangular eyeshadow pans.
The ColourPop x Disney Bambi Flower Palette is cool toned with some pretty lilac and mauve tones, with shades such as;
- Pretty Flower – purple toned mauve matte
- Oh Gosh! – metallic lilac
- Little Stinker – deep purple matte
- Hibernating – dark purple matte with purple glitter
The second palette is the ColourPop x Disney Bambi Eyeshadow Palette which is all about the warm neutrals, with a beige, light gold, warm orange, deep terracotta and a deep brown. It looks to maybe contain one shimmer shade, and four mattes.
I love the hues in this palette, as they really represent Bambi very well, and I love that there’s a little Bambi next to the mirror inside the lid. ColourPop are amazing at the finer details like this, which will please any Disney fans.
The Thumper Palette, is another cool toned palette, with shades to complement Thumper’s colouring, and it reminds me of the Viseart Quad Palette with the greys and pinks.
Each of the glosses have clear tubes, and lemon yellow lids, with cute foil images on the tubes which are just adorable.
One of the shades is a shimmery pink, one is a shimmery nude and one is a sheer shimmery lilac. They all look so sparkly and multidimensional, and they all look like they would work well with all three eyeshadow palettes within the collection..
In the ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection, there are going to be three ColourPop x Disney Bambi Eyeliner Pencils, like they did with the Hocus Pocus Collection, with an eyeliner pencil for each of the three ‘witches’.
There’s an eyeliner to complement each of the three main characters; Bambi, Flower and Thumper, and the colour of the liner will complement the shades of the corresponding eyeshadow palette which is a genius idea. It looks like one’s a purple, one’s a mauve and one’s a lovely nude.
The ColourPop x Disney Bambi Collection also contains a ColourPop x Disney Bambi Pixie Pouf Highlighter Body Puff, which is a little retro but very cute nonetheless. It comes in a big, cardboard round tub with Good Morning on the outside, with Bambi, Thumper and Flower sitting amongst flowers in the meadow.
The body puff inside the tub is a lemon yellow colour, with a lemon satin ribbon to slip over your fingers, for easy application. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s scented, and what kind of colour it’ll impart on the skin.
I’ll update this post as soon as more information is shared, plus swatches. I definitely want the eyeshadow palettes, as they’re so pretty, but the liners and glosses look equally pretty.
