The ColourPop x Bambi Raindrops Creme Gel Pencil launched back in February as part of the ColourPop Bambi collaboration, and I bought it alongside the ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette which I reviewed here on the website last month.
I have to admit, I wasn’t the biggest Bambi fan as a child, but I can definitely appreciate how cute the movie and the characters are.
I love the Thumper Palette, and is a beautiful cool toned palette, and when I saw swatches of this liner, I knew it was a shade I’d want to add to my eyeliner collection.
“a super creamy, highly pigmented créme gel pencil that delivers instant color payoff for all day wear. the sharpenable pencil allows for a flawless, precise application of color. the versatile formula can also be smudged immediately after lining for a soft focus effect.”
The ColourPop x Bambi Raindrops Creme Gel Pencil is an eyeliner pencil, and Raindrops the shade, is described by ColourPop as being a metallic icy rose.
There are two other eyeliners in the Bambi collection, with one being a greeny yellow and the other is a deep purple. I really liked the look of how metallic and multidimensional Raindrops was.
The ColourPop x Bambi Raindrops Creme Gel Pencil is such a pretty shade, and is a rose gold colour with a metallic finish. I think the liner complements the shades in the Thumper Palette nicely, and it’s my favourite ColourPop eyeliner I’ve ever tried.
I wish ColourPop would launch more eyeliner pencils in this formula, as part of their frequent limited edition collections. They’re so creamy, and once you’ve applied them, they don’t budge, and the ColourPop x Bambi Raindrops Creme Gel Pencil is no different – it’s a beautiful liner!
