ColourPop are starting 2021 extremely strong, with an incredible collaboration; the ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection.
ColourPop have launched some really fantastic collaborations in the past, with the Disney Hocus Pocus collection back in September which practically broke the internet. The ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection 2021 is being announced today, and is launching on the 28th January 2021.

Well, the ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection was initially revealed by an influencer back in December, which was ahead of when ColourPop were ready to announce the collection.
ColourPop have shared a cheeky sneak peek over on their TikTok account, and wow the collection is exciting. We can see the amazing, colourful packaging on every product, as well as some of the names.

Everyone is crazy over Animal Crossing right now, and ColourPop first put the feelers out for an Animal Crossing collaboration back in April when they asked on Twitter if people enjoyed Animal Crossing. There were hundreds of replies, and it’s officially happening!
The full ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection has gone all out of their collection, and fans will be wanting to throw their ‘bells’ at this collection as soon as it launches.
The names and the packaging designs are so clever, and Animal Crossing fans are going to be obsessed over this collection.
I think even gaming and Nintendo fans in general will be excited about this collection too. I love how ColourPop always deliver on a theme with their collections, with themed packaging, shade names, and colour stories too.
ColourPop shared a video on their TikTok account of the ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection, and the video has had over one million views in under 9 hours, and over 6000 comments which just shows how popular this collection is going to be. I reckon this will be their most popular collection to date!!
We now know that the ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection includes maybe four eyeshadow palettes, three lip kits, a highlighter, super shock shadows and blushers.
I also expect there might be something from their Fourth Ray Beauty skincare brand, as they tend to launch something skincare related with most collections these days.
Something to consider with this collection is the licensing rules. Sometimes when ColourPop drops a licensed collab, they have very strict rules on which products can be sent to which countries. I have a feeling that will be the case with this collection too.
Hopefully the restrictions won’t be too strict, as there’s many people that will want to get their hands on this collection.
The ColourPop x Animal Crossing Collection is everything we hoped it would be and more. ColourPop have totally nailed this collab, and I can’t wait to see swatches of all of the palettes and blushers in this collection.
