It’s been a very busy few months for ColourPop with launch after launch, and the ColourPop Wine Collection is officially the very last collection of 2020.
They only just launched the Big Poppy Collection last week which was all about the terracotta tones, and the ColourPop Wine Collection is all about the berry tones.
ColourPop Wine Collection
As soon as I saw the ColourPop Wine Collection, it instantly gave me Urban Decay Naked Cherry vibes. The eyeshadow palette in particular, appears to feature very similar shades, so it’s exciting that if the Naked Cherry Palette was out of your price range, there’s now a budget friendly option from ColourPop.
So when does this new collection launch? Well, it launches on the 17th of December on the ColourPop website, and is described as the following;
“Errbody in the house gettin’ tipsy 🍷🌹 Introducing the Wine Collection, inspired by all the cabernets, merlots, melbecs, and pinot noirs that you’ve been drinking during quarantine.“
The ColourPop Wine Collection includes two different eyeshadow options. There’s the ColourPop Wine and Only Palette, featuring nine pretty wine-inspired shades within a burgundy coloured palette. The palette also looks to contain some really gorgeous, metallic shades with a few mattes thrown into the mix.
Would a ColourPop collection be complete without some sort of Super Shock Shadow shade? Well this collection includes two thanks to the ColourPop Sommel-YAY! Super Shock Shadow Duo containing two different shades. The packaging is burgundy coloured, just like the packaging of the palette.
Next in the ColourPop Wine Collection is the ColourPop Wine Not Liquid Liner, which is one of their felt tip liquid liner pens. This liner pen looks to be a pretty, matte burgundy shade, which complements the shades in the palette perfectly.
There’s three Super Shock Blushers in the collection, and they are so, so pretty. The two shades are; Brut Flute, Cruel Intentions and Cheerio. They look like they are all matte, or matte and satin finish shades, which again complement the shades in the eyeshadow palette.
The next product in the ColourPop Wine Collection is the ColourPop Vino Rejuvenating Serum Boost 14.80ml which looks like an interesting product, and looks quite unique. It’s said to be rich in resveratrol, and has a pipette dispenser.
Lastly, we have the Sol Body Sangria Shimmering Dry Oil, which looks like a rich ruby coloured shimmery body oil. I think it would look amazing on tan to medium skintones, and is a unique addition to their range of body oils.
So that’s the entire ColourPop Wine Collection wrapped up. ColourPop love their monochromatic themed collections, and whilst they’ve done berry tones before, they’ve never done the whole wine themed collection before, so I think it works for their monochromatic collection. You can find the whole ColourPop Wine Collection right here from Thursday.
