The ColourPop Star Wars The Child Palette launched back in December of last year, and it sold out in record time. I wasn’t initially going to buy the palette, but of course, as soon as something sells out, you get instant FOMO, and end up lusting after it when it’s impossible to get hold of.
Thankfully, the ColourPop Star Wars The Child Palette has been restocked many times since the initial launch, and I decided to purchase it in one of the ColourPop 30% sales, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
ColourPop Star Wars The Child Palette
I can’t honestly say I’m a Star Wars fan. I am however, a fan of anything cute or olive toned, so chuck an adorable ‘Baby Yoda’ on the front of the palette, and fill it with olive greens, and I’m going to want it.
I’m not sure the ColourPop Star Wars The Child Palette could be any cuter. It’s a nine-pan palette, with the baby Yoda on the front, with raised metallic green spots on the inside, and even a little frog illustration next to the namesake shade name.
“This monochromatic olive green palette features a range of finishes from matte, metallic, and our iconic Super Shock formula. Create the cutest looks in the galaxy with the fun olives, golds, and neutral tones.”
- precious cargo: super shock opal gold with pinpoints of silver glitter
- right hand mando: metallic icy moss with pinpoints of silver glitter
- just like a tatooine: matte soft saddle brown
- sipping soup: metallic true moss green
- baby face: matte dusty mint
- the force: ultra-metallic vibrant antique gold with pinpoints of gold glitter
- little frog: matte olive with flecks of silver glitter
- float your crib: matte blackened matte olive
- droid protocol: matte warm deep brown
The ColourPop Star Wars The Child Palette is easily one of the top five best eyeshadow palettes I’ve tried from ColourPop. It’s such a pretty and interesting colour story, with the variations of muted green, which complement The Child theme really well.
I always love every single look I make with this palette, and my standout shades have to be Sipping Soup and Float Your Crib. Together, those two shades create the most perfect smokey olive green eye look, especially with a little Droid Protocol along the lash line.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence on whether you need this palette, get it. You won’t regret it, and it won’t be around forever, as it is limited edition.
