The ColourPop Sparkler Eyeshadow Palette launched back in April as part of a new collection of four pan eyeshadow quads, and seeing as I love the ColourPop eyeshadow formula so much, I had to try some of the palettes.
I ordered three initially, and the ColourPop Sparkler Eyeshadow Palette was one of those palettes, and wow it’s an amazing palette….
ColourPop Sparkler Eyeshadow Palette
The ColourPop Sparkler Eyeshadow Palette is one of six palettes, each of which contain four powder shadows, and the palettes are housed within clear acrylic packaging which is different to the usual packaging we see with ColourPop palette packaging. On the front of the palettes, there’s some little white stars too, which looks cute.
Each of the palettes is $9, and they all contain two shimmer shades and two matte shades. Inside the palettes you get 5.9g / 0.21 oz of product, which works out at being 1.47g per eyeshadow, which is almost the size of a full size MAC eyeshadow (1.5g).
So for $9, you’re getting a decent amount of product, and each of the nine palettes have their own colour story, but as a whole, the ColourPop Sweet Life Palette collection are mostly neutral.
“Make sparks fly with this rich bronze palette! Featuring deep bronze and chocolate shades to create depth and dimension to your look. Deep neutrals are a staple to everyone’s collection.”
Inside the ColourPop Sparkler Eyeshadow Palette, you get the following four shades (which are named on the underside of the palette);
- extra bubbly*: metallic rich golden bronze with pinpoints of copper & gold glitter
- sweet on: metallic chocolate
- seltzer: matte chocolate brown
- cool cola: rich matte blackened brown
Just look at that pigment. I can’t believe how beautiful these eyeshadows are. ColourPop very, very rarely disappoint, especially when it comes to eyeshadows, but this palette is fantastic.
The fourth shade; Cool Cola, is the deepest, most intense dark brown matte which doesn’t swatch very well, but don’t let my swatch put you off, as it’s perfect on the eyes.
I feel like the ColourPop Sparkler Eyeshadow Palette is a deeper, more budget friendly option to the Viseart Petits Fours Praline Palette which I reviewed recently.
Both Extra Bubbly and Sweet On look super pretty when worn alone for a one-shadow look, but equally they look so pretty together with Seltzer in the crease, and Cool Cola in the outer corner for extra depth.
I have also been using Cool Cola with the Zoeva 322 Brow Line Brush for lining my eyes too, and it looks fab. It’s a really pretty neutral quad, and I can’t wait to share the other palettes from The Sweet Life collection, with you very soon.
