It’s hard to believe it’s time for summer makeup collections, but the ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection has been revealed today, and it’s a beauty of a collection, and it’s one of the ColourPop summer collections.
It’s been six weeks since we saw a non-collaborative collection, and that was the Limoncello collection, so it’s definitely way overdue for a brand like ColourPop.
ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection
The ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection is the new upcoming collection, and it is set to launch on Thursday the 20th of May.
I don’t know about you, but the imagery is giving me spring vibes more than it is summer vibes, but the promotional images are just stunning, and it’s an eleven piece collection.
Every piece in the collection has a pastel pink and gold foil design on the packaging, and there’s some really pretty filigree patterns. It’s very feminine, and I love it!
The first piece within the ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection is the prettiest of palettes, and it’s the ColourPop So Very Lovely Pressed Powder Palette ($18), which contains twelve powder shadows.
It’s such a pretty colour story, and it complements the background of the promotional images perfectly. There’s a mostly cool toned theme, with a couple of pops of warmer brighter shades, but it’s such a wearable palette, and one I’d love to add to my collection.
The shades in the palette include six mattes, and six shimmers and the shade names are;
- Lace Up
- Organza
- Craft Works
- Fringed
- Braided
- Macaroon
- Eyelet
- Rose Ave
- Dream Catcher
- Tea Time
- Collective
- Topanga Blvd.
The next pieces within the ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection are the ColourPop So Very Lovely Super Shock Blushers, with three shades to choose from, each priced at $8.
It looks like there’s one matte shade which has the classic Super Shock braided pattern in the pan, then there’s two shimmer shades with a smooth effect within the pan. The three shade names are; Chiffon, Georgette and Voila.
Each of the three blushers are housed within a special edition nude pink casing, to complement the colour of the boxes across the whole collection. I always love it when ColourPop do special colours for their Super Shock Shadows or Blushers.
One of the most popular products within the collection are guaranteed to be the ColourPop So Very Lovely Lippie Stix, and there’s four shades to choose from.
They’re going to be $7 each, and just like the Super Shock Blushers, the four Lippie Stix lipstick crayons have pale pink packaging, with gold foil writing, which looks so chic.
The four shades on offer within the collection are; Soft Side, Nice Things, Sweet Stuff and Fab. It looks like there’s a shade for all three of the blushers too, which is nicely done.
I love the look of the two nudes and the coral, but it’s great to see some deeper shades for deeper skintones. I think all of these shades will look super pretty for summer, and they’re great additions to the collection.
The last pieces within the ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection are for the eyes, and it’s the ColourPop So Very Lovely BFF Creme Gel Pencils, and we have three shades to choose from.
They’re going to be $7 each, and they each have a shimmer finish which is my favourite when it comes to ColourPop Gel Liners. The shade names are; Lattice, Macrame and Crochet, and it looks like there’s a nude pink, a copper and mauve, all of which I want, they look so pretty!
So that’s the entire ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection. It’s such a beautiful, soft and feminine collection, and I like the shade names have a material / haberdashery vibe to them.
I personally really like the palette, the blushers and liners, but the entire ColourPop So Very Lovely Collection is beautiful, and will be available right here.
