It’s time for a brand new ColourPop collection, and this time it’s the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Collection. We’ve seen a fair few collaborations from ColourPop lately (Snitchery, Hocus Pocus 2 and Harry Potter).
So it’s nice to see something kinda different. We also saw the launch of the Trouble Maker collection last week, and this latest collection is all about delicious chocolate themed neutrals.

“🍫 LUV U A CHOCO-LOT 🍫 Satisfy your sweet tooth and indulge in our YUMMIEST and SWEETEST collection yet! Meet our new Not a Box of Chocolates Collection launching 10/20 on colourpop.com!!”
The ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Collection is inspired by chocolates, with a chocolate box theme for the packaging, the shades, and also the shade names.
I’ve seen some comments on social media, mentioning how this would’ve been an epic Valentine’s Day collection, and it really would, but neutrals work all year round, and everything looks so pretty. Let’s take a look at all of the products…
The first item in the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Collection is the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Eyeshadow Palette, which is a sixteen-pan powder eyeshadow palette, with cardboard packaging.
This palette features a mix of matte and shimmer shades, and the matte shades have a raised pattern design, to resemble patterned chocolates within a box of chocolates, which is such a cute touch. Inside the palette, the shades have the following names;
- Champagne Truffle
- Lil Nougat
- Honeycomb Crunch
- Praline
- Oh Chip
- PB Brittle
- Amaretto
- Still Bitter
- Drizzle Me This
- Tiramisu
- Vibe Choc
- Crazy 4 Cocoa
- That’s Rich
- Cherry Cordial
- In Truffle
- 90% Cocoa
Next in the ColourPop Not a Box of Chocolates Collection, are a range of ColourPop Crème LUX Lipsticks, all in chocolatey hues, with brown plastic casing. If bullet lipsticks aren’t your thing, the last items in the collection might be for you…
Lastly, we have the ColourPop Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquers, and there’s three shades to choose from. All three shades are variations of brown, and complement the shades within the eyeshadow palette (and the lipsticks) perfectly.
If you love neutrals and/or chocolate, you’ll love this collection. I think the palette is beautiful, and some of the shades look like they’re the amazing foil finish ColourPop very rarely does (shades like PB Brittle and Champagne Truffle). If you’d like to get your hands on this collection, it launches on the 20th of October right here.
