ColourPop are continuing with their monochromatic collections, with the announcement of the upcoming ColourPop Making Mauves Collection.
The design team have been crazy busy lately, as yesterday they announced the upcoming ColourPop x Disney Mulan Collection launching soon too.
ColourPop Making Mauves Collection
I know many people are tired of the monochromatic collections, but I love them as they’re just something different to the masses of nude palettes most beauty brands launch.
I love mauve makeup, so I’m head over heels in love with this ColourPop Making Mauves Collection already. It looks so beautiful, and the tones look as if they’d completely all skin tones too.
The new Making Mauves Collection includes a beautiful nine pan eyeshadow palette $14. All of the products in this collection have the prettiest packaging, with a pinky lilac hue on the plastic packaging and a mauvey lilac floral print on the boxes of everything.
I know it’s about the formulas of products, and not the packaging but ColourPop manage to combine great formulas with stunning packaging, and affordably so too,
The ColourPop Making Mauves Palette features six matte shades which make up the top row and the bottom row in the palette. Then the middle row contains three multidimensional shimmer shades, that look incredibly sparkly and pretty.
Next up are the two Pressed Powder Blushes $8 each, which are named; Coast to Coast and also Catch my Vibe. Wow are these blushes pretty. The compacts are a lovely pinky lilac hue, but there’s a white silhouette of a flower on them too.
Plus the same flower is then embossed into the powder, and the effect is so pretty. The two shades couldn’t be more perfect for Spring, and the special packaging is just amazing.
No ColourPop collection would be complete without some SuperShock Shadows, and the ColourPop Making Mauves Collection includes two shades, which are available in a Merci Bouquet duo set with Day Trippin’ and Bloomer.
One of the shades looks like a duochrome purple with silver glitter, and the other is a lilac duochrome with a pink shift. They look amazing, and complement the mauve theme really well.
The last items within the ColourPop Making Mauves Collection are two Lux Gloss lip glosses $8 each, which will be available individually.
There is the shade Figgy Wit It and also Check In, and both shades look as if they contain a super fine, beautiful sparkle to them too.
This Collection is such a beauty, and I think it might be one of my favourite monochromatic collections they’ve created thus far. It launches on Friday, at 10am PST and I can’t wait to see swatches of everything.
