The ColourPop Cool Breeze Shadow Stix launched as part of the ColourPop Limoncello collection back in March, and I bought it alongside the beautiful Limoncello Shadow Palette which I’ve reviewed already.
I love a good cream eyeshadow stick, so I was excited to try ColourPop’s formula as they hadn’t launched cream eyeshadow sticks before.
ColourPop Cool Breeze Shadow Stix
“a super creamy, multi-tasking eyeshadow in a stick! get high impact colour in a single swipe with this innovative formula that glides on effortlessly and lasts all day. line it up, wear it all over, smudge it, smoke it out, wear this shadow in so many ways! use the built-in sharpener to create the most precise tip.”
The ColourPop Cool Breeze Shadow Stix was one of four shades which launched as part of the Limoncello collection. In addition to Cool Breeze, there’s also Check Please, Citrus Squeeze and Style and Ease.
Each of the ColourPop Shadow Stix are $6 each, and as part of the Limoncello collection, they have lemon yellow packaging.
ColourPop have since launched a whole range of permanent Shadow Stix in nude packaging, but I really like how bright and colourful the yellow is.
When my ColourPop order arrived, I have to admit, I was surprise by how small the ColourPop Cool Breeze Shadow Stix was.
Whilst yes it’s super affordable at just $6, but you only get 0.65g (0.023oz) of product which is a very small amount of product for an eyeshadow stick.
The ColourPop Cool Breeze Shadow Stix is described as being a metallic gold, and in the base of the packaging, there’s a secret sharpener, which can be accessed by pulling off the coloured cap on the base of the stick.
Cool Breeze is a pretty, bold yellow gold with a metallic finish, and it looks pretty when worn all over the lid as an eyeshadow, or blended along the lash lines as a liner.
I like how creamy and smooth the formula is, and it’s very easy to blend with your fingertips or a brush, and I’d love to try some more shades from the permanent range after enjoying this shade so much.
