ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette Review / Swatches

When I saw ColourPop were collaborating with Disney Bambi, I knew I had to have something. I ordered the ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette and one of the eyeliner pencils, and couldn’t wait to try them.

I’m not the biggest Disney fan, but Bambi was one of the few Disney films I enjoyed when I was little, so I felt like I needed something from the collection.

ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette

The ColourPop licensed collabs are so clever like that. They tap into nostalgia, and people’s memories which makes me them want the collection in its entirety.

Thumper was my favourite character from Bambi, and even if he wasn’t, the colour story was my favourite from the three palettes in the collection.

The ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette is available as well as a Bambi palette and a Flower palette. The Thumper palette has the prettiest cool toned taupe colour story, whilst the Flower palette has a cool toned purple theme, and the Bambi palette has a warm toned colour story.

Each palette is really quite small, and I was surprised by how small the ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette was. It’s a slim, narrow palette with cardboard packaging. The design is so cute with a little Thumper cut out next to the mirror inside the lid.

There are five shades in the ColourPop Bambi Thumper Palette, and it’s $14. I have to admit, that’s quite pricey for ColourPop and a five pan palette. However, licensed collaborations always carry higher prices as ColourPop have to pay Disney for the licence which is very expensive!

This cool-toned, 5-pan palette is thumpin’ good! Featuring icy metallic green and cool matte taupes to create looks inspired by your favorite rabbit! The compact packaging and mirror make it the perfect palette to take anywhere!

All five shades are extremely pretty, pigmented and easy to apply. Long Ears (shade 4) is the most perfect transition shade for every shadow look with this palette, and I love that they’ve included two shimmer shades, two matte shades, and one deep dark matte with micro glitter.

I wasn’t sure on the green shade (I’m Thumpin’) from the stock images, but it’s very wearable and looks so pretty on the lids.

I love ColourPop shadows anyway, but the ColourPop Disney Bambi Palette is beautiful quality, and I’ve loved every single makeup look I’ve made when using this super cute mini palette.
