This week is all about the foundations! The Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation is just one of many new foundations launching today, and it’s the sister complexion product to the Clinique Even Better Concealer which launched back in July. If you’d like to find out all about this new Clinique foundation, keep on reading….
Whenever Clinique launch a concealer, they always follow up with a foundation in the same name, or the other way, the foundation comes first, and then they launch a matching concealer, so I knew we’d see an Even Better foundation eventually, and here it is!
The Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation is $42 and contains 1.0 oz/ 30 mL of product, and features Broad Spectrum SPF 25 making it a perfect foundation for spring and summer, with the extra protection. This foundation is packaged within a clear glass bottle, which has almost a teardrop shape, with a pump dispenser.
“This weightless, medium to full coverage liquid foundation helps visibly improve skin quickly and over time. It is packed with good-for-skin ingredients like hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C, and Clinique’s exclusive dark-spot-fighting molecule UP302. This foundation is also clinically shown to leave bare skin looking even better than you found it—more even, smoother, and hydrated.”
It’s available in a total of 42 shades, which is very impressive, and the most generous shade range Clinique has created to date. It makes Lancome’s new foundation’s 22 shades look pathetic.
Hopefully 2021 is the year that we stop accepting makeup brands with small, limited and non-inclusive shade ranges. Everyone has the right to be able to find a shade match, and this 42 shade range still has room for improvement, but it’s a massive improvement for the brand.
The Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation is the brand’s first clinical foundation with 3 serum technologies to leave bare skin looking even better. It is said to offer full to moderate coverage, which is buildable too. Clinique recommends the foundation for those with dry, combination, combination oily and also oily skin types.
The Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation does look a little familiar, and that’s because it’s a reformulation and improvement on the old Even Better SPF15 foundation.
You can see the comparisons between the two foundations in this handy chart above. One big improvement being the increase in the SPF factor, and the packaging looks a lot more luxe too.
The new packaging is also now recyclable too, which is amazing, and the new formula of the Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation is available right now.
