The Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara was one of Clarins bestselling eye makeup products, but they’ve revamped and relaunched it with a new name and new version; the Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D Waterproof.
There is also a Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D in a standard formula, in the shade 01 Perfect Black. I used to love the original Wonder Perfect Mascara, and it was one of the first higher end mascaras that I tried.
Clarins have said they’ve listened to feedback on their mascara, and that’s how the Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D Waterproof was created.

Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D Waterproof Benefits:
- Intense volume
- Stunning length
- Incredible curl
- High definition
I really like the sound of this new Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D Waterproof version, as so many waterproof mascaras can leave the lashes feeling stiff and uncomfortable as they’ve got such a strong formula that they cling to your lashes for dear life. That’s the reason I don’t typically like waterproof mascaras, as I hate it when my lashes feel stiff.
This new formula is said to contain Blue Lotus Wax that forms a flexible, waterproof film that locks onto each lash, whilst Sphingosine and Panthenol protects the lashes.
Removing waterproof mascara can be a total mission, and it can be very harsh on the lashes as you have to use strong makeup removers and rub your lashes which obviously isn’t healthy for your lashes.
I like that the brush on this new Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D Waterproof has natural bristles, and the brush isn’t massive so you can really wiggle to the roots of your lashes.
In addition to the waterproof version of this mascara, they’ve relaunched their Wonder Perfect Mascara 4D formula with a new and improved formula, and that formula is available in the UK for £23.
The original version of the mascara is available in two shades; 01 Perfect Black and 02 Perfect Brown, whereas the waterproof version is just black.
I’ve tried many higher end mascaras, but I’ve only found that Clarins and YSL mascara are worthy of the higher price tags, so I’m looking forward to giving this new and improved formula a try.
