Ciate have launched a few new products this week, including the Ciate Superfruit Burst Citrus AHA Primer and the I Am Woman Eyeshadow Palette. Ciate is a brand which is often overlooked, and whilst some of their collections have been a little lacklustre (like their Smiley World collection), they do have some great products within their line-up.
Ciate Superfruit Burst Citrus AHA Primer
“With a formula that contains gentle fruit enzymes, evening primrose flower extract, and plant extracts this skincare-priming hybrid works to visibly smooth and brighten the skin, while helping reduce the appearance of oil.”
The Ciate Superfruit Burst Citrus AHA Primer is $28 and contains 40ml / 1.34 oz, which is a decent amount for a primer. You tend to see most primers with 30ml, and I always appreciate those that contain more, as I like to use a lot of primer.

This primer is described as being a powerful primer that helps skin from daily use while keeping your makeup in place all day. Looking at the photo above (strange way to swatch a primer), it appears the Ciate Superfruit Burst Citrus AHA Primer is a clear gel, and Ciate recommend applying 1-2 pumps of the primer, and waiting 60 seconds before applying your makeup products.
You don’t see many primers containing AHAs so the Ciate Superfruit Burst Citrus AHA Primer appeals to me as being something a little different. Ceramides is such a buzz word now with makeup products, so it’s interesting that there’s ceramides within this primer too. If you’d like to check out the primer, it’s available right now.
