There’s an exciting new launch from Chantecaille, and it’s the Chantecaille SeaScreen 30 Mineral Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen Mist SPF 30.
Chantecaille are known for their luxurious makeup formulas, but they also have an extensive skincare collection, and this latest launch is their second suncare product in their range.
When the Conde Nast Traveller includes the Chantecaille SeaScreen 30 Mineral Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen Mist SPF 30 within their round-up of eco-friendly sunscreens, you know it’s an amazing product, and it’s the brand’s first ever reef-safe sunscreen which launched today.
“Infused with non-nano minerals that protect against the sun’s harsh rays and botanicals that soothe and care for the skin, this non-aerosol mist formula absorbs quickly, is reef-safe, water-resistant and 95% natural and 70% organic.”
What makes it reef safe?
Seascreen 30 is free of damaging oxybenzone and octinoxate, which can bleach corals and cause them to become fragile and at risk.
The Chantecaille SeaScreen 30 Mineral Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen Mist SPF 30 is packaged within a white, aerosol bottle which you spray onto the skin before massaging it in.
I like aerosol sunscreens as I find them to be super cooling and soothing in the warmer months, and they tend to be lighter, less-greasy formulas as they need to be, so they’re able to dispense from an aerosol can.
- Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply
- Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure
- Do not spray directly into face, spray on hands then apply to face
- Do not apply in windy conditions
- Use in a well-ventilated area
The Chantecaille SeaScreen 30 Mineral Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen Mist SPF 30 also supports the WildAid Marine Program, which works to safeguard coastal and marine environments and their wildlife. If you’d like to check out the new Chantecaille Reef Safe SPF, it’s available right now.
