Chanel has introduced a brand new makeup primer to their range, and it’s the Chanel La Base Illuminatrice Glowing Makeup Primer. It’s always exciting for Chanel fans, whenever a new product is added to the range. However, this new launch is a reformulation and revamp of the Chanel Base Lumiere. If you’d like to find out all about this multi-use primer, keep on reading…
What Is The Chanel La Base Illuminatrice Glowing Makeup Primer?
The Chanel La Base Illuminatrice Glowing Makeup Primer is a makeup primer that prepares the skin for foundation application and provides instant radiance, featuring SPF 50/PA+++.
This new makeup primer is said to be bursting with moisture, delivering an immediate feeling of freshness to the skin. It’s been infused with hyaluronic acid, so it visibly plumps the skin, offering intense hydration throughout the day.
Chanel La Base Illuminatrice Glowing Makeup Primer also claims to protect the skin from external aggressors. With the formula being enriched with subtle light-reflecting pearl pigments, and blurring powders, allowing it to even out the skin’s texture, smooth out fine lines, and reducing the appearance of imperfections for an instantly radiant complexion.
Chanel claims the dewy primer will impart a fresh, lit-from-within glow, and leave the skin ready for makeup, whilst remaining radiant for up to twelve hours.
Key Ingredients
- Infused with hyaluronic acid, it instantly and visibly plumps the skin and keeps it hydrated throughout the day.
- Enriched with blue microalgae, which is known for its antioxidant properties, and containing SPF 50/PA +++, which helps combat oxidative stress caused by UV exposure, it protects the skin from external aggressors.
The Chanel La Base Illuminatrice Glowing Makeup Primer is $48, and is housed within a white, squeezy plastic bottle with a black, screw-on lid. Chanel recommends using fingers to apply the primer before foundation. Its easily spreadable formula melts into the skin and allows for better makeup application, and it’s available right now.
