CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream Review

After a long, cold winter, my feet have been excessively dry, and no foot creams really make a noticeable improvement. Well that was until I tried the CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream, which wowed me in just one single use.

CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream Review

CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream

I use a lot of different foot creams, but they only feel like they’re making the surface of my skin soft, and don’t actually do anything to remedy the dryness like a hand cream would.

I imagine it’s because I’m permanently in socks, as I have issues with the tendons in my ankle and foot, and it’s too painful. So the foot cream must just rub off as soon as I put on my socks, so I never really have high hopes when trying a new foot cream.

I have tried (and loved) the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream (review here), so when I spotted their SA range had the CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream, I knew I had to try it, as I’d had such noticeable results with their moisturiser, and I’m a big fan of CeraVe as a brand, and how effective CeraVe products are.

CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream Review

The CeraVe SA collection is a range of products featuring salicylic acid, and is designed to basically resurface, smooth and remedy dry and textured skin.

The SA Smoothing Cream is a moisturiser, and it works wonders on facial dry patches, so I was curious to see how the CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream would perform in comparison.

Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream effectively moisturises and helps to protect the natural skin barrier of the feet.

This fast-absorbing, non-greasy cream, with 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, exfoliates and moisturises extremely dry, rough feet to smooth and improve the texture of the compromised skin. CeraVe Renewing SA Foot Cream is fragrance free & allergy tested.

CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream Review

The CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream is £8.50 / $11.99, and is packaged within a squeezy plastic tube. CeraVe recommend applying liberally as often as needed, and that’s the only instruction they give.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, this foot cream feels really slimy and greasy when you’re applying it. It doesn’t feel pleasant, but I promise the results are worth it.

You’re going to want to thoroughly wash your hands after using it, as it is so slimy, but I pop on a pair of socks as soon as I’ve applied it, and let it work its magic whilst I sleep.

The first time I applied the CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream, I applied it before bed and didn’t really think about it again, but the next morning I was shocked by how different my feet both looked and felt.

The dryness on my heels had disappeared completely, and the dryness on the rest of my feet had almost disappeared, and that was just one use. It’s very effective, and intensive, so I wouldn’t use it more than once a week as it is so strong, but in four uses, my feet are looking better than they ever have.

So many people rave about the peeling foot socks, but after watching a lot of TikTok videos by dermatologists, I’d never use them again after hearing how bad they are for the feet. I would never need to either, as the CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream gives better results than the peeling socks ever did.

When researching into the product to write this post, the product has been removed from the CeraVe US website, so I really hope they haven’t discontinued it, so I’ve bought three back-up tubes just in case, but this is without a doubt the best foot cream I’ve ever tried.
