I have a very exciting collection to share with you today, and it’s the Catrice x My Little Pony Collection. It’s always exciting whenever Catrice launches a collaboration, and nine times out of ten, it’s a Disney themed collab. However, they’re mixing things up with this latest collection, so keep on reading to find out more…
Catrice x My Little Pony Collection
The Catrice x My Little Pony Collection is set to launch in March, and it’s an amazing colorful collection. I loved My Little Pony as a kid, and my childhood bedroom was decked out in My Little Pony from floor to ceiling, so this new collection has my heart.
We’ve seen ColourPop do a My Little Pony collection in the past, so it’s nice to see another (more accessible) My Little Pony themed collection launch, and the colors and packaging designs on everything within the collection are so fun and perfect for collab. Let’s take a look at all of the products within the collab…
The first item within the Catrice x My Little Pony Collection is the Catrice x My Little Pony Highlighter. It’s a pretty pink compact, with a raised swirl design on the pan. It looks like the prettiest metallic pink, which complements the My Little Pony collaboration perfectly.
This highlighter reminds me vividly of the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters, even the swirl pattern is the same (except it’s upside-down within the Catrice version compared to the MUA version), and will probably give you the same icy finish on the skin. The packaging design is adorable too.
It wouldn’t be a Catrice collab without a makeup brush set, and the Catrice x My Little Pony Collection features the cutest little brush set. In the Catrice x My Little Pony Brush Set, you get a pink pouch, with a My Little Pony on the front, with a rainbow – I can’t get over how cute the pouch is.
Inside the pouch, you get three makeup brushes, with monochrome handles, and black synthetic bristles. Within the set, you’re getting a powder brush, an eyeshadow shader brush and an eyeshadow blending brush. I kinda wish the brushes were as colorful as the pouch, though, they definitely missed the trick with the brush design.
The Catrice x My Little Pony Collection also features an eyeshadow palette, and this is the Catrice x My Little Pony Eyeshadow Palette, featuring twelve bright and colorful shades within a pastel mint compact, with the same My Little Pony and rainbow design as the brush set.
Inside the palette, you get the following shades;
- Cotton Candy
- Blue Belle
Any My Little Pony fan will know all of these shade names are different characters / ponies from the franchise, which is so cute. In terms of shades, this palette includes purples, blues, pinks, orange, green, yellow and a couple of neutrals.
Next up in the Catrice My Little Pony collection is the Catrice x My Little Pony Lip & Cheek Activator Stick. This is a pH technology balm stick, which can be applied to both the lips and the cheeks for a custom pink hue, and a natural finish. The stick has the same monochrome My Little Pony design as the brushes within the brush set in the collection.
The last items within the collection are four beautiful nail polishes. The My Little Pony x Catrice Nail Polishes are themed around four different ponies;
- Pretty Sunlight
- Sweet Cotton Candy
- Lovely Minty
- Happy Skydancer
I think the nail polishes are my favorite items from the collection, with a peach, bright fuchsia, mint green and pastel blue, and all four shades have a design on the lid to match each of the four pony characters.
This entire collection is just adorable. I absolutely love that Catrice have opted for the retro Hasbro My Little Pony designs, and not the modern day My Little Pony.
The modern version just isn’t half as cute as the original, and any 90s babies will adore this collection, plus everything is adorable, with all of the products being priced between €2.99 and €12.99, and everything will be available right here.
