The Catrice Hemp & Mint Glow Lip Balm has launched as part of two hemp infused products, to coincide with 4/20 which is April 2020 but also known for being slang in cannabis culture for the consumption of cannabis.
Many brands are capitalising on the hemp theme for April, with hemp infused products such as NYX. In addition to this lip balm, Catrice also launched a hemp oil infused makeup primer which is designed to have anti-redness benefits, whilst smoothing the skin.
Catrice Hemp & Mint Glow Lip Balm
If you’re based in the UK, Catrice is available via Just My Look which is a beauty website that stocks many great brands. They also offer free delivery on all orders which is amazing, as hardly any beauty websites offer that anymore.
Catrice isn’t available anywhere else in the UK right now, which is crazy because we have Essence in Wilko stores, and they’re both part of the same company, so you’d think Catrice would come to the UK properly too.
The Catrice Hemp & Mint Glow Lip Balm is just £4.99 and contains 4.2g of product. The balm contains menthol ingredients which gives the balm a tingling sensation when applied to the lips, and helps to make the lips appear visibly fuller.
The hemp oil offers pampering care, to nourish the lips and the balm is totally vegan too. The packaging is really cute, with metallic green casing, a hemp leaf pattern on the lid and the balm is a pretty pastel green colour too.
Although the lip balm appears green in the bullet, it contains delicate colour pigments which are activated by the individual pH value of the skin, give the lips a delicate shimmering finish.
You can see the colour in the swatches above, the shade of pink does definitely vary from skintone to skintone, and it looks so pretty in all four swatches.
If you liked the idea of the very expensive and luxurious Tom Ford Lip Blush, with the colour changing effects, I think the Catrice Hemp & Mint Glow Lip Balm would be a nice alternative.
