The Catrice Bronze Away To Fiji Hydrating Fixing Spray launched as part of the Catrice summer collection, and I’ve already reviewed the (amazing) Bronze Away Highlighter Palette, and the Bronze Away Eyeshadow Palette, so I thought it was time I shared my thoughts on the setting spray from the collection.
Catrice Bronze Away To Fiji Hydrating Fixing Spray
“The super-light, moisturizing Fixing Spray is the perfect partner for a long-lasting look. Its summery scent of coconut brings back holiday memories and makes you dream of beautiful sandy beaches and turquoise oceans.”
The Catrice Bronze Away To Fiji Hydrating Fixing Spray is just £4.99, and is said to be as refreshing as diving into the cool waters of the South Pacific, providing an instant boost of refreshment, as well as helping to set your makeup in place.
It’s quite a small bottle for the price, with just 50ml. Yes, it’s under £5, but setting sprays tend to have 100ml+ in the bottles, so this one is on the mini side, but it would be good for travel, especially as it’s said to be a facial mist and setting spray in one.
The scent of the Catrice Bronze Away To Fiji Hydrating Fixing Spray is lovely, with a strong coconut scent which smells exactly like sun cream. I love coconut scented products, but if you’re sensitive to fragrance, you might not enjoy this setting spray, as it is quite a strong fragrance.
Whilst the Catrice Bronze Away To Fiji Hydrating Fixing Spray does smell really lovely, I don’t find that it makes a difference to the longevity of my makeup. It does a good job if my skin’s looking a little too dry and powdery, but it doesn’t make my makeup last any longer than it would had I not used a setting spray.
I found the face palette and eyeshadow palette to be a lot more impressive in comparison, and would highly recommend trying those over this ‘fixing’ mist, as there are better affordable fixing mists like the Essence Instant Matte Makeup Setting Spray, and that one is £2 cheaper than this one too.
