Catrice Bronze Away To Costa Rica Face Palette Review / Swatches

I featured the Catrice Bronze Away To Costa Rica Face Palette, here at the end of June, and I decided to purchase it as it looked like such a stunning palette. I’ve tried a few Catrice palettes over the last eighteen months, but not many of their face powders, and let me tell you, this palette is amazing….

“Pura Vida in Costa Rica” – For residents, this means focusing on the positive things in life and enjoying it to the fullest. With the Baked Bronzing & Highlighting Palette, this easy-going attitude also finds its way into our make-up.

With its four different shades, it creates a natural tan and a radiant, shimmering glow effect for the face and body. Thanks to the silky-soft texture, the shades are easy to apply and blend.

The Catrice Bronze Away To Costa Rica Face Palette launched as part of the Catrice summer collection, and I’ve not seen anyone talk about the collection, and I have no idea why?

In addition to this face palette, there’s also an eyeshadow palette (reviewed here) and setting spray, all of which I bought, as I loved the look of the collection, and I love all three products, and as always with Catrice, everything is nicely affordable too.

The Catrice Bronze Away To Costa Rica Face Palette is £8.99, with cardboard packaging featuring a lovely palm leaf print design. The inside of the palette is a bronze foil, with a mirror inside the lid, and four large face powers.

As soon as I saw this palette, it gave me Hourglass vibes, but obviously considerably more affordable, with four baked, domed powders to help you bronze and highlight the skin.

Each of the four powders contain 5g of product which is a lot of product, especially for a face palette, and you could totally use all or any of these shades on the body as well as the face, so £8.99 is a steal, and works out at just £2.24 per powder; amazing!

I am blown away by this palette! The quality of all four shades is amazing, and I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this palette. Depending on your skintone, the Catrice Bronze Away To Costa Rica Face Palette includes a shimmery bronzer, a more subtle champagne highlighter, a more intense light gold highlighter and a satin bronzer.

I love that you have a more subtle bronzer and a more intense, shimmery bronzer, and the same with the highlighters, with a more subtle shade, and a more intense highlighter depending on the look you’re going for.

There is absolutely no glitter or sparkle in any of the four shades. They all look so radiant and glowy on the skin, and they 100% could be Hourglass powders if you didn’t know they were from Catrice.

They are beautiful, and I can’t rave about this palette enough. If you can get hold of it, snap it up, as it’s the best face palette I’ve tried from any drugstore brand in a long time, and I’m gutted it’s not part of their permanent range, as it needs to be…
