By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Foundation – FULL SWATCHES

February and March tend to be the time of year when brands launch new concealers and foundations, and the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Foundation is one of the newest foundation launches within the beauty community.

By Terry already do a Hyaluronic Hydra Primer and Hyaluronic Hydra Powder, so the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Foundation has launched as part of that collection, but they’ve also just launched a tinted version of their powder too.

By Terry describe the new By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Foundation has being hard-working, luminous and weightless. It claims to flood the skin with moisture, delivering seamless coverage with an ultra fine, comfortable texture.

Interestingly, it suits all skin types and is a particularly good foundation for dry skin, working to plump out wrinkles and fine lines and create a matte luminous finish. It also contains light-reflecting pigments to create a lit-from-within allure.

  • Hyaluronic acid traps moisture like a magnet, locking it into the skin
  • SPF30 protects against UV rays.
  • Special ‘Skin-Fit’ technology controls shine and makes the formula lightweight and longwear, while delivering the comfort of a second skin.
  • Skin looks healthier and more radiant; the complexion is smoother, more even, wrinkles and fine lines are reduced. The buildable formula allows transformation from a sheer to a full coverage foundation.
  • Available in 15 nude-like shades for all skin types, all ages, all women.

The By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Foundation is £49 for 30ml and is available via SpaceNK. It’s an expensive foundation, but the whole of the By Terry makeup range is quite pricey so it was to be expected that this foundation would be the same.

Plus it claims to be a skincare foundation, with hyaluronic acid so it’s supposed to help the skin as well as help perfect it.

The bottle is super sleek, with a frosted glass bulb shape bottle and a glass pipette dispenser. It sounds like a really lovely foundation, but it is only available in fifteen shades which is something to consider if making a purchase online.

The deepest shade they do looks like a tan coloured shade, with nothing for medium to deep skintones which isn’t good enough especially for such a luxury brand.

They do have this helpful infographic which shows all the shades broken down into tones, so you can try to find a shade match if you know what undertone you have.

I think more brands should do infographics like this, as it makes it a little easier to work out your perfect shade. If you are interested in the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Foundation, it’s available to purchase right now.
