By Terry are kickstarting the new month and new week with a brand new launch. The By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer is the brand’s latest makeup release, and is said to offer skincare benefits as well as working as a conventional concealer. If you’d like to find out all about this new luxurious concealer, keep on reading.
“Formulated as skincare, the Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer is your new secret weapon to both blur imperfections and take care of the sensitive eye area.
Starring hyaluronic acid, this skincare concealer fully hydrates, blurs imperfections, brightens dark circles and smooths fine lines, erasing signs of fatigue. With a light, silky texture that sets to a lumi-matte finish. Available in 6 auto-adaptable shades.”
The By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer is marketed as being a hyaluronic acid skincare concealer, with an 87% skincare formula which is really impressive. Many brands label a product as having a skincare formula, and just throw niacinamide in the ingredients, but 87% skincare is amazing.
In terms of formula, the Hyaluronic acid works to lock moisture into skin, smoothing and plumping out fine lines while boosting elasticity. The hyaluronic acid is smartly combined with Horse Chestnut seed extract that stimulates the micro-circulation, dark circles are instantly brightened, micro-vessels are less visible, skin looks even.
Whilst hydrophobic coated pigments ensure a long-lasting lumi-matte finish while the mineral coated powders complex provides a soft focus, mattifying effect for a silky second skin feeling. Vegan formula.
- The lightweight formula hydrates and brightens under the eyes and makes them look more awake.
- Dark circles are disguised; fine lines and redness are diminished.
- Skin is firmer.
- Non-crease result.

I think this shade range could definitely be improved. Due to the skincare heavy formula, they are said to be more universal, but six shades for any complexion product is very limited, and there’s going to be a lot of people who won’t be able to find a shade match.
By Terry describe the new By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer as having “autoadaptable shade technology”, however that’s not a thing.
Concealers can’t be “autoadaptable”, they either match you or they don’t. It might have a sheerer formula which might look more forgiving on the skin, but it’s not going to magically transform into everybody’s skintone.
The By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Concealer comes in a chunky, silver metallic pink with a brush applicator allowing you to apply the concealer directly onto the skin.
I would like to try this concealer, as the 87% skincare formulation really appeals to me. It sounds like a concealer which would look good under the eyes, without emphasising lines and wrinkles. If you want to give it a try, it’s available right now.
