The By Terry Beach Bomb Brightening CC Palette launched back in March, and I instantly fell in love with it as soon as I saw the promotional images.
Every year, By Terry launches a different version of their Brightening CC Palette, and I’ve never been tempted by the palettes before. However, this year’s edition, in my opinion, is the prettiest palette they’ve created to date…

By Terry Beach Bomb Brightening CC Palette
The By Terry Beach Bomb Brightening CC Palette is the name for this year’s palette edit, and last year’s version was called Sunny Flash.
These By Terry CC Palettes are always a bestseller for the brand, and as they’re limited edition, I’d recommend snapping them up should you ever want one, as they never get repromoted at a later date.
“Achieve a sunny and glowy complexion in time for summer with the new limited edition ‘Beach Bomb’ Brightening CC Palette.
Presented in a rose-gold embossed palette with beautiful highlighting textures it is the best ally to a skin looking a little lacklustre.
It has been created to give your skin its glow back and a bronzed finish while correcting any dullness.
‘Optical Glow’ technology and skincare benefits of rosehip oil minimize imperfections, intensify skin radiance, neutralize redness and create a flawless finish.“
The By Terry Beach Bomb Brightening CC Palette is £42 / $56, and the palette is housed in pink metallic casing, with the prettiest raised gold, pink and orange floral design.
It looks seriously pretty, and very luxurious. This is my first ever By Terry palette, and I’m so happy with how beautifully presented it is.
I feel like the shades on the front of the palette complement the shades inside the palette too, and there’s a decent sized mirror inside the lid.
Inside the palette, you get four large face powders (each powder contains 2.3g / 0.08oz of product), and the four powders have a raised floral design to them which isn’t disappearing with frequent use, which makes me happy.
I hate it when brands go to the effort of making special embossments into powders, for them to just disappear the minute you dip your brush into the pan.
The four shades within the By Terry Beach Bomb Brightening CC Palette are;
- N°1 – the illuminating shade highlights the complexion with a beautiful nude glow.
- N°2 – An unmissable warm summer shade to use as a glowy blush or an eyeshadow.
- N°3 – A vivid pink blush for a rosy glow to livens cheeks with a ‘freshly-pinched’ hue.
- N°4 – A warm glowy bronzer to provide definition to the features for the most beautiful bronzed finish.
In the pans, the N°2 and N°3 shades look very bright and vibrant, which put me off initially as I prefer subtler blush shades, or buildable shades but as you can see from the swatches, the shades are a little more muted which I really, really love.
All four shades within the By Terry Beach Bomb Brightening CC Palette are soft, smooth, and they impart a subtle sheen to the skin.
There’s no obvious shimmer in the two blushers and bronzer, and the highlighter shade reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, where it makes the skin glow, but naturally so.
I absolutely love every single thing about this palette, and it’s now made me want to try all of the By Terry palettes as the quality is fantastic, as is the presentation too.
