Beauty Bay launched their latest makeup collection; the By Beauty Bay Youtopia collection, and it’s the prettiest collection. The By Beauty Bay Youtopia Pressed Pigment Collection are just four products within the collection, with there also being the Youtopia Pressed Pigment Palette, the Youtopia Summer Gloss Trio, and the Youtopia Aquavated Liner Palette too.
“Take your looks to paradise with By BEAUTY BAY’s Youtopia Pressed Pigments. The sheer, shimmering, long-wearing pressed pigments each have a super creamy, blendable, and long-lasting formula to help you create dreamy looks that last.
With four wearable shades to collect, the lightweight pigments glide over the lids, leaving a foil finish and a subtle pop of colour.“
The By Beauty Bay Youtopia Pressed Pigment Collection includes four different shades of pressed pigment, and they’re each just £5. and they each contain 1.1g of product. They’re packaged within white, circular plastic jars, with screw on lids with a clear window, and are giving me ColourPop Super Shock Shadow vibes.
As soon as I saw them, I knew they were a dupe for one of my all-time favourite eyeshadow formulas; the Hourglass Scattered Light Eyeshadows, and they really are. Except the Hourglass version is £28 per shade, and as I said, these offerings from Beauty Bay are just £5.
Let’s take a look at the four beautiful shades within the By Beauty Bay Youtopia Pressed Pigment Collection….
The By Beauty Bay Youtopia Pressed Pigment Collection is truly stunning, and I included three photos of each shade, including a shot with my macro camera lens, so you could see the amazing texture, and dimension within each shade.
They really do have the same consistency and formula as the Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows, yet the ‘bouncy’ feeling you get with the ColourPop Super Shock Shadows, so it’s very important to always fully close the lid to ensure you keep the shadows air tight.
Beauty Bay describe the four shades as the following;
- Reverie – A gold shimmer
- Bloom – A pink/gold duochrome
- Vision – A coppery/pink shimmer
- Air – A blue/purple duochrome
The By Beauty Bay Youtopia Pressed Pigment Collection are some of the prettiest eyeshadows I’ve ever used, and I can’t quite get my head around the fact they’re only £5 each. They look absolutely stunning on the eyes, and they’re all so pigmented and easy to apply.
I prefer to use my fingertip to apply them (just like I do with the Hourglass version), as it really helps to intensify the metallic finish, and they look so sparkly, and mesmerising on the lids.
I love that you can apply just one of the four shades, and nothing else, but it makes your eyes look as if you’ve used multiple products to achieve the multidimensional, stunningly sparkly effect.
My favourite shade would have to be Air, as it’s such a unique duochrome purple shade, and it’s a shade I don’t own in my collection, but for £5, you have to try them, and as they’re limited edition, I’d recommend getting your hands on them ASAP right here.
