Buxom have just launched their summer 2020 collection, including the Buxom XTROVERT Eyeshadow Palette. Some brands have postponed their summer collections, but the Buxom summer collection has just launched in the US, and will hopefully make its way to UK Buxom stockists very soon.

The Buxom XTROVERT Eyeshadow Palette is $39 and features a cardboard design, with a chevron pattern on the lid.
There’s quite a varied selection of shades inside the palette, with neutral tones alongside a bright yellow, a mint green, a bright teal and a coral.
As a shade selection, I have to be honest, I’m not wowed by this palette. The shades look pretty, but it just doesn’t look very cohesive.
The yellow looks so random next to the other shades, and for $39 I can’t help thinking it looks a little cheap? I know it’s down to personal preference, but the design doesn’t really fit with the whole Xtrovert theme?
Usually Buxom nail it when it comes to packaging, but this palette isn’t doing it for me. I think there are more exciting summer palettes being launched, and whilst the Buxom eyeshadow formula really is fantastic, this isn’t a palette I’d spend $39 on.
