Bumble and Bumble have launched a brand new product within their popular Pret-a-Powder collection; the Bumble and Bumble Post Workout Dry Shampoo Mist. Quite a few brands are launching new interpretations of dry shampoos, and it’s a refreshing change.
Usually it’s all about the starchy, powdery aerosol sprays which tend to leave my hair feeling like straw, and I hate how my hair feels with dry shampoo in it as I don’t like the texture, but the lighter formulas definitely appeal to me.

Bumble and Bumble Post Workout Dry Shampoo Mist
Benefits:
- Absorbs oil
- Cleans hair
- Eliminates odour
- No white cast or residue
- Quick drying
Shake super-well. Section damp or sweaty hair, and apply 2-4 pumps about 6 inches away from roots. Let sit for 15-30 seconds, then shake out with fingers or brush through to cleanse and refresh.
PRO TIPS:
• This bi-phase formula contains powders to help absorb oil and refresh hair. Visible separation and settling is normal – but shake (super) well before using.
• Use a towel to absorb excess sweat where hair’s damp from the workout – usually at the roots, in the nape, and behind the ears. Then, shake and spray hair in sections.
• After applying, tousle hair with hands, brush through, or towel-dry to distribute (and get rid of moisture).
• To dry fast, blow-dry on cool.
The Bumble and Bumble Post Workout Dry Shampoo Mist is £24. The product contains 120ml in a peach coloured, plastic bottle with a black pump. I like that Bumble and Bumble have included photos of the spray in action, so we can see how mega fine it is, and they have photos of before and after too so you can see how effective it is.
VO5 just launched a post workout spray, so I think it’s interesting that the Bumble and Bumble Post Workout Dry Shampoo Mist has launched at the same time. It suggests that it could be the start of many brands launching similar products.
I think this spray sounds amazing, and something I would want to try myself as it claims to actually clean the hair, rather than just saturate the hair in starch.
