Bobbi Brown have just launched a brand new foundation; the Bobbi Brown Skin Long Wear Fluid Power Foundation which is described by Bobbi Brown as being their first-ever liquid-to-powder foundation. The foundation launched this past week over in the US, where it’s on sale for $40 and it’ll make its way to the UK very soon.
Bobbi Brown Skin Long Wear Fluid Power Foundation
The Bobbi Brown Skin Long Wear Fluid Power Foundation is the brand’s first liquid to powder foundation formula which sets into a comfortable, soft matte finish. It’s formulated with a Power Protein Complex to help skin look smooth and healthy, this lightweight, sweat-resistant formula controls oil and stays colour true all day. Plus, it keeps skin protected on the go with environmental, blue light and UV filters. It’s said to be ideal for oily skin types. Paraben-free; phthalate-free; sulfate-free; gluten-free.
If you have normal to oily skin, prep with Vitamin Enriched Face Base. For skin that’s dehydrated, prep with Hydrating Water Fresh Cream. Next, apply foundation using the Foundation Brush, a sponge or your fingers.

Looking at the shade range, although they have 28 shades which isn’t as small a range as some brands, there’s definitely room for improvement. There are no deep and dark shades, and there aren’t any super fair shades either.
In fact, shades 12-20 look like they’re all very similar. Bobbi Brown foundations are known for being very warm toned, and the shades of the Bobbi Brown Skin Long Wear Fluid Power Foundation do look very warm overall.
The packaging of this foundation is different to what packaging Bobbi Brown tend to use for their foundation, as they usually use glass bottles but this foundation comes in matte, black, plastic tube.
The foundation is $40, so I guess it’ll be around £35 once it launches in the UK as the weightless version is £32, however this new foundation contains 40ml whilst the original Weightless Foundation only has 30ml.
