It’s such a fun idea for a palette series, and I can only imagine other brands designing similar themed palettes for next year, as it’s such a great concept, and the BH Cosmetics series has been so well received.

The BH Cosmetics Peridot August Birthstone Palette is $9, just like the other birthstone palettes we’ve seen launch this year. The last palette to launch was the Ruby palette for July, which was my birthstone, and I didn’t love it, I have to admit. However, this palette is a beauty!
The BH Cosmetics Peridot August Birthstone Palette features cardboard packaging, with a mirror inside the lid, and contains seven powder shadows. With six square shaped pans, and one larger pan.
In some of the birthstone palettes, the larger pan has housed a shade which can be used as both an eyeshadow or a highlighter, but these shades are very much eyeshadows, with a beautiful green colour story.
