There’s a hot new launch from Benefit, and of course, it’s part of their “They’re Real” collection, and it’s the Benefit They’re Real Xtreme Precision Liner.
I honestly cannot remember a single new product launch from Benefit which wasn’t a POREfessional or a They’re Real themed launch, gift sets aside. It’d be nice to see them do something a little different for a change, but let’s take a look at their new liquid liner pen.

- Xtra Brown
This liner is priced at £22 / €27, and is packaged within bright red plastic packaging with a super flexible and precise 0.1mm tapered brush tip, with 0.35ml / 0.01 oz of product inside the pen.
Benefit describes the 0.1mm tapered brush tip nib as being made from ultra-fine, firm-yet-flexible bristles, allowing you to create super precise eyeliner looks.
Key Benefits
- Waterproof
- Smudge-proof

- Feels weightless
- Quick-set formula
- Buildable
- Satin finish
The Benefit They’re Real Xtreme Precision Liner claims to be suitable for drawing both thin lines, and thick lines on the eyes, with a waterproof, smudge-proof and longwearing formula.
Something a little strange in the write-up about the Benefit They’re Real Xtreme Precision Liner, is that Benefit claims the Xtra Black shade of the eyeliner offers up to 24 hours of wear time, whereas the Xtra Brown offers up to 12 hours of wear.
So it’s kinda weird that the brown shade doesn’t last for as long as the black, but at least the brand is being honest and upfront about the difference in the two shades.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen a liquid eyeliner pen from Benefit. The brand already has their Roller Liner Matte Liquid Liner, which is a felt tip liner.
However, this is a brush tip liner, and this formula is said to have a “Satin” finish, and it does look quite glossy on the model’s eyes, and it’s available right now.
