I'm always excited whenever Becca launch something new. Especially if it's limited edition, and the Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector is one of the most stunning limited edition launches they created to date.
** Becca have announced that $5 from every purchase of the Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector in the US will support the Jed Foundation (upto $100,000) between the 1st of May to the 31st of July 2020, and the shade was created in honour of their commitment to mental health and emotional well-being of all people.**
In the last couple of weeks, we've already seen the gorgeous Ignite Liquified Light Highlighters, and now we have another highlighter, which is part of their iconic, award winning Shimmering Skin Perfector collection.
Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector
If any brand knows how to make good highlighters, it's Becca. I have three of their Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed highlighters, one of their Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured highlighters and a collection of shades from their Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight formula too.
Step 1: Take a small amount of highlighter with a soft brush or the BECCA Angled Highlighter Brush.
Step 2: Apply the highlighter in stroking, C-shaped movements on the cheekbones, eyebrow arch and bridge of the nose.
Step 3: Repeat step 2 until the desired glow is achieved.
Becca has an amazing way of creating the glowiest of highlighters without chunky, obnoxious glitter, and this new limited edition looks very special. The highlighter has a special edition packaging design, which looks incredible.
It has the usual metallic design, but instead of being silver or bronze, it has the most amazing peachy duochrome effect to complement the shade inside the compact
The Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector is available worldwide, and it looks like this highlighter might be another collaboration with Barbie Ferreira.
Becca collaborated with Barbie to create a special shade of their Ignite Liquified Highlighter too, so this looks to be a second part of the collaboration, especially as the video is named Becca Own Your Light, and that's the name of this new limited edition shade.
The Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector has now launched at ULTA Sephora and Cult Beauty and is $38. Although because it is a collaboration product, there's potential it could be a little more pricey, especially as the packaging is special edition too.
The Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector will contain 7 grams of product, and has the following description;
“Own Your Light is a universal shade that makes your external appearance shine just as beautifully as your inside.
A warm gold meets ultra-fine and bright pigments in peach and pink tones that adapt to the undertones of your skin and thus bring out the natural glow.
Your complexion gets a fascinating finish that does not sparkle, but radiates naturally. Own Your Light is not only unique, it is very special. “

Just look at that gorgeous glow! The Becca Own Your Light Shimmering Skin Perfector has the most amazing duochrome effect, with a peach base and a pink duochrome shift that'll look stunning during the summer months.
I love that Becca are doing more duochrome finishes, as they're a lot more popular now and I imagine this particular shade will work nicely as a blush on fairer skintones too, it's such a pretty shade.
