The BeautyBlender Wave Shade Shifter Sponge is unique colour changing sponge which when dry is a pastel blue colour, but once it’s been held under water, it becomes pink. It has been created to help us remember to dampen our sponges, before we sit down to apply our makeup.

I am forever forgetting to take our BeautyBlender through to the bathroom to wet it before use, and although you can use beauty sponges dry, they are best when used damp. There’s lots of videos on Instagram showing the colour changing effect in action, and it really is cool.
