Beauty Bay launched two incredible beauty boxes this week, and I was lucky enough to be gifted them both to show you. The Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box is the skincare themed beauty box, but there’s also an epic makeup beauty box, which is the Beauty Bay The Showtime Beauty Box (which I’ve unboxed right here).
Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box
“Your backstage pass has arrived. Party season beauty is all about what goes on backstage, and we have the bundle to help set your mind and skin up for the Christmas countdown. With a saving of 78%, The Backstage Beauty Box features 11 skincare products, plus a candle to set the mood, to help you and your skin feel flawless so you can really put on a show. You’re going to look great!”
The Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box is a one-off beauty box, and it’s limited edition. So it’ll only be available whilst stocks last, and I can’t imagine it’ll be around for very long considering how amazing the value, and contents are.
The Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box is on sale for £30, and the products inside this beauty box are worth £138, so you’re getting £108 of extra value, which is crazy, and exactly why the box will sell out very quickly.
Inside the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box, you get a menu card telling you what’s inside, as well as a special discount code, which you can enter at checkout, and it’ll give you 20% off your next order, which is very generous, and makes the box even more exciting.
OK, let’s take a look inside the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box…
The first product inside the box is the BH Cosmetics Acne Patches Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches, which are full size and are worth £8.50 alone. Inside the pack, you get three sheets of blemish plasters in cute designs, with a sheet of holographic clouds, green moons and yellow suns.
They’re designed to be worn whilst you sleep, and you just place a sticker over the top of a blemish or active breakout, and it’ll help shrink blemishes and protect your pimple from environmental aggressors that could make it worse.
Next up in the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box, is the Florence By Mills Swimming Under The Eyes Gel Pads, and you get one pair of eye gels.
These are adorable whale shaped eye gels. They are soaked in a soothing essence that hydrates and brightens up our beautiful faces with de-puffing coconut extract and moisturizing hyaluronic acid.
Once you’ve used your eye gels, you can use the next product; the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber & Green Tea, 59ml, worth £4.95. This is said to be perfect for waking up dull, tired skin, mist over the face before moisturising or throughout the day after makeup, for a quick antioxidant boost.
The Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box next features one of my favourite products, and it’s the Clinique Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator 15ml.
This 15ml size is actually worth £13, so it’s a generous size, and it’s such a lovely, hydrating and refreshing moisturiser, which keeps skin hydrated up to 100 hours.
I was excited to see the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box featured a Revolution Home candle, as I’d never tried their candles. We get the Revolution Home State Of Mind Scented Candle, and it’s a 41g mini candle.
It’s such a beautiful candle, with a grey matte glass votive holder, and gold foil writing. This ‘State of Mind’ scent is said to be a woody and floral scent of sandalwood and rose. It might only be a mini candle, but the scent is potent, and filled my room in under half an hour, which is amazing for a mini candle.
Possibly the most exciting product in the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box is the Foreo Luna Play Mini, which is worth £49. I can’t believe this is included within the box, when the box is £30 to buy, and this one product is worth £49!
It’s a 2-in-1 facial cleansing device to remove dirt, oil, sweat, and makeup from the skin, while massaging and gently exfoliating the skin. It’s the mini size, so it’s perfect for travel, and it’s a fantastic addition to the box.
The Ordinary in next inside the box, and it’s The Ordinary Amino Acids + B5 30ml, worth £5.75. It’s a nourishing facial serum with amino acids and pro-vitamin B5 to maintain healthy and balanced skin, and is perfect as we head into the cooler months.
Next in the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box, is the GLAMGLOW SuperMud Clearing Treatment in a 7g mini size, but you’ll still have enough for at least a couple of applications.
This is such a good mask, especially if you have blocked pores or blackheads, as it works as a face mask equivalent of a pore strip, and visibly improves the look of the skin in only ten minutes.
There’s a makeup product next inside the box, and it’s the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel in a 2.5ml size. I love that they included a makeup product inside the box, and this is one of the best clear brow gels I’ve ever tried.
We have another makeup themed product next, and it’s technically two! It’s a little set featuring two deluxe miniature sized tubes of two Smashbox face primers.
There’s the Smashbox Vitamin Glow Primer in a 7ml size, and the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer, and it’s 7ml again. Smashbox primers are fab, so to get two of the primers inside the box is great.
The last item inside the Beauty Bay The Backstage Beauty Box is the Aurelia London Resurfacing Serum Clear Skin Treatment 15ml, worth £34. This is a bakuchiol-enriched serum to help resurface, smooth, and soften the skin.
I can’t believe how amazing this box is, and for £30, it’s fantastic value. There’s such a great mix of brands, with skincare, home fragrance, makeup and even an electronic skincare tool, and it’s available right now.
