Today saw Barry M launch the new Velvet collection, which is all about the nudes. The Barry M Velvet Matte Lip Paint Collection features five brand new lipsticks, which have launched alongside the Barry M Velvet Multi Purpose Palette and also the Velvet Nail Paints.

Barry M Velvet Matte Lip Paint Collection

The Barry M Velvet Matte Lip Paint Collection includes five lovely nude shades, in super sleek packaging. The original Barry M Lip Paints have quite dated, rubberised packaging which hasn’t changed for at least ten years.
These new lipsticks have rectangular, angular tubes with gold writing. I like that the bullets look like velvet too, with their matte finish.
The five nude themed shades within this collection are;

- Angel Kiss
- Dirty Rose
- Crave Me
- Bittersweet
I really like the look of Angel Kiss and Bittersweet, and I will definitely be purchasing them as I’m interested to see what the formula is like, and how it compares to the original Barry M Lip Paints which were notoriously drying and chalky on the lips. These five lipsticks look so sleek, and they’re under £5 which is amazing.
