Barry M have launched a couple of new products; one for the nails, and one for the body. The Barry M Instant Blur Body Foundation is a product Barry M have been hinting about over on their Instagram page, and it’s finally launched.
It feels like many brands this year have been launching body foundations and body bronzers, and it does seem a little late in the year for Barry M to launch this kind of product.
Barry M Instant Blur Body Foundation
Right off the bat, it’s extremely obvious that the Barry M Instant Blur Body Foundation is trying to copy the popular Vita Liberata Body Blur. The tube design is almost identical, as is the font on the tube.
Barry M aren’t normally a brand that does stuff like this, so it’s surprising they’d try to copy Vita Liberata so blatantly. Obviously we have no idea how the formulas compare, but the Barry M Instant Blur Body Foundation is £9.99 and the Vita Liberata is £29.95.
The Barry M Instant Blur Body Foundation is available in five shades;
- Light
- Light / Medium
- Medium
- Medium / Dark
- Dark
“Instant Blur Body Foundation is the ultimate solution to flawless, perfected skin. With Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to hydrate skin and protect against pollution, the luxurious formula provides a subtle bronze glow. Ideal for minimising the appearance of imperfections, revealing a radiant, even skin tone.“
Looking at the swatch dots, the shade range isn’t amazing – but the Vita Liberata version has a limited shade range too. The Light shade looks more medium, and they’re all quite warm toned too.
It might be a product you have to swatch instore to see what the coverage, and shades are like. I think it’s fab Barry M have launched a body foundation, as there aren’t any drugstore brands that have one – yet…
