Barry M launched a Hi Vis Nail Paint collection back in March and now they’ve launched the Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection in time for festival season, even though none of us will be visiting any festivals any time soon.
It’s strange that Barry M would split the collection up with the Nail Paints launched three months before the makeup products, but it could perhaps be that they’ve created the makeup products as an afterthought if the Nail Paints were popular?
Either way, everything has now launched, so keep on reading to find out more…
Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection
The Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection has initially launched on the Barry M website, and will be launching at all other Barry M retailers shortly. You can order from the Barry M website, so you don’t have to wait for the products to appear instore.
This new Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection consists of four different products, each of which are available in multiple different Hi-Vis inspired shades;
- Barry M Hi Vis Neon Nail Paints
- Barry M Hi Vis Neon Liquid Eyeliner
- Barry M Hi Vis Neon Pigment Body Paint
- Barry M Hi Vis Neon Bold Waterproof Eyeliner
The initial product from the Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection, was the collection of six Nail Paints which as I mentioned above, have been available since the beginning of March.
They’re all bright shades and claim to be neon, but Barry M recommend applying them over a white base to intensify the brightness;
- Coral Blaze – pink
- Yellow Flash – yellow
- Outrageous Orange – orange
- Blue Shock – blue
- Green Light – green
- Pink Venom – pink
The next product within the Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection are the Barry M Hi Vis Neon Liquid Eyeliners which are £4.99 each, and available in a total of 4 shades.
These are absolutely not even remotely neon, so I don’t know why they’ve been called neon. If anything they’re pastel, so it’s a little misleading.
They’re liquid liners with a foam tip, allowing you to create a flexible line across your eyelids. Barry M describe them as a high pigment, liquid formula that boasts a tapered brush for perfectly crisp wings in Barry M’s brightest colours yet.
- Amp Up – blue
- Unleashed – pink
- Charged Up – green
- Empower – lilac
The next product within the Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection are the Barry M Neon Bold Waterproof Eyeliner collection, which are £3.99 each.
Described as having a creamy, long-lasting formula that glides seamlessly onto eyes for a unique splash of colour. There are six different shades, but only five have launched so far;
- Caution – cobalt blue
- Riot – fuchsia pink
- Strobe Light – lime green
- Dangerous – violet
- False Alarm – red
The last piece within the Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection is actually something for the body; Barry M Hi Vis Neon Pigment Water Activated Body Paints £4.99, with three different colours.
Barry M claim they can be used on face and body for a splash of vivid colour in a bold matte finish that lasts. Here are the directions;
1. Wet a makeup brush with water
2. Mix brush into formula until it transforms into a cream
3. Apply to skin
4. Allow product to dry before storing
The three shades to choose from are;
- Trance – bright blue
- High Voltage – bright pink
- Wavelength – bright purple
I’m not sure the Body Paints will be popular, as I can’t imagine there being a massive need for a product like that, but the liners look pretty.
The Barry M Hi Vis Makeup Collection is all available right now via Barry M’s direct website, but it should launch at other Barry M retailers in four days time.
