bareMinerals fans will be excited to learn about their newest launch, but it’s limited edition so you’d need to move quickly if you want to try the bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow collection.
Every brand appears to be launching their own metallic liquid eyeshadows right now, and bareMinerals have created a five shade collection of pretty neutrals.
The bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow shades are £20 each, but they only contain 3.3ml which is a very small amount of product for the price.
So I’d perhaps recommend swatching them instore to see if you like the shades, and formula before splurging as you really don’t get a lot of product for your money. They are currently available to purchase via the bareMinerals UK website, which offers free UK delivery on all orders.
bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow
The bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow collection are limited edition, and feature a moisturising formula which full coverage metallic colour. There are five shades on offer, which are all infused with more than 40% water, for a lightweight, refreshing and comfortable application to the eyelids.
The eyeshadows contain multi-dimensional crushed mineral pearls to give an extreme metallic finish, which is buildable from sheer to intense. Whilst a blend of smoothing botanicals and minerals provide nourishing benefits.
The bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow has a smudge proof formula that glides on the eyes with ease, and they claim not to settle into fine line, for a shimmery metallic colour effect that looks fresh all day long.

The swatches of the bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow shades do look very pretty, and they remind me finish wise, of the Stila Magnificent Metals Shimmer and Glow Eyeshadow.
The packaging is nice and simple, with a clear plastic tube and a black plastic lid, and a doefoot applicator. The five shades available in the eyeshadow collection are;
- Citrine (metallic quartz)
- Golden Topaz (metallic gold)
- Sunstone (metallic rose gold)
- Pink Opal (metallic pink)
- Fire Agate (metallic chestnut)
Compared to other liquid shimmer eyeshadows, the bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow collection look pretty but I don’t feel like the shades or finish look particularly unique.
I think this new launch might appeal to existing bareMinerals fans, or those looking for a cruelty free, skin-friendly alternative to the Stila shadows.
I don’t know why they’ve decided to make them a limited edition introduction to their range, but fingers crossed they decide to make them a permanent product if they prove to be popular.
