bareMinerals have quite a large holiday collection this year, with two eyeshadow palettes including the bareMinerals Gen Nude Joyful Color Eyeshadow Palette. They also have an eyeshadow and bronzer palette, and a larger Good Tidings Palette with twelve shades.
bareMinerals Gen Nude Joyful Color Eyeshadow Palette
“Share the joy of the season with this versatile eyeshadow palette featuring 3 shimmering neutrals and 3 cool violets.
Blend and layer to create a range of looks from soft to bold. Try a luminous neutral eye or go dramatic with a defined, deep plum look.“
The bareMinerals Gen Nude Joyful Color Eyeshadow Palette is $25, and is said to offer $29 in value, so it’s not a mega value offering like most of the holiday launches, but it’s a pretty palette regardless.
Each shade features Jet-Milled Mineral Pigments for buildable, blendable colour, plus botanical extracts to help nourish skin. The talc-free formula resists creasing and smudging, so your eyes stay flawless all day – or evening – long.
This low-waste, recyclable palette is made with 100% FSC-certified paper. When empty, simply remove the mirror and inner tray, snip off elastic band, and recycle the rest.
The shades included within the bareMinerals Gen Nude Joyful Color Eyeshadow Palette are;
- Chai (rose beige)
- Cider (pink peach)
- Toasty (true bronze)
- Flash (cool lilac)
- Plum (rich plum)
- Velvet (deep charcoal)
As far as holiday palettes go, I think the bareMinerals Gen Nude Joyful Color Eyeshadow Palette is a little boring. I know bareMinerals are more of an understated beauty kind of brand, but the eyeshadow looks above look a little washed out. It’d be good to see real swatches, but the shades look very muted and sheer.
