Every month, the ASOS beauty boxes tend to sell out quickly, except the ASOS Face + Body Buyer’s Picks Box which launched in June, and somehow is still in stock.
The boxes which are £12 always sell out quickly, but the pricier boxes tend to hang around a little longer, but the value is a lot more impressive on the £20 boxes, especially their brand themed boxes.
The ASOS The Weekender Beauty Box is £12, and offers beauty essentials for any weekend trips you may have planned now restrictions have been lifted.
ASOS is clever, as they never say the value of the products inside their boxes, they just mention the saving, which for this box, is a 78% saving. Let’s take a look at the contents inside the box…
ASOS are obsessed with putting CeraVe and Cetaphil in their boxes – every box features something from either brand, and this time it’s the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser in a 236ml size, which is worth £9.50. This exact product has featured in a previous box – change it up ASOS, you have a massive beauty department.
Next up in the ASOS The Weekender Beauty Box is a teeny tiny sample of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue Eye Cream in a 3ml size, worth £8.40.
The ASOS The Weekender Beauty Box includes the Hairburst Volume & Growth Elixir in a 40ml size worth £8.99, which is their travel size that you can purchase, but there is a much larger full size bottle available too.
Lastly, the box includes the Oh, K! Skin Clarifying Leopard Print Sheet Mask worth £4. This is obviously a full size, single-use sheet mask.
I don’t think this was the best ASOS beauty box we’ve seen, and they keep repeating CeraVe, Cetaphil and Oh, K, so it’d be nice to see more of their beauty range showcased in the boxes.
Why have they included two cleansers? That’s so unnecessary, and the repetition is frustrating. I’ll share the grooming box next…
