The ASOS beauty boxes are crazy popular, and the ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box is one of two hair themed beauty boxes they’ve launched for the month of May. I shared the April box for you last month, and it was a truly fantastic box.
I managed to get both of the ASOS May Beauty Boxes, and I have to admit, I didn’t think this month’s boxes were as exciting and amazing as their boxes usually are. Usually, the ASOS boxes wow as they feature exciting brands, some full sizes and have a fun theme.
The two hair boxes for May, had some very small sizes, but the ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box was very much the better of the two boxes, and I’ll share the other box with you ASAP!
The ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box is £12, and keeps coming in and out of stock. Usually the ASOS boxes sell out and that’s it, but I was able to get my hands on the ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box four days after it launched, so keep checking back right HERE as it’s likely to be restocked.
Again, that might be why they’re able to restock as the contents aren’t as impressive as they have been in previous months. I do like that they launched two boxes though, as it gave people the chance to get at least one of the boxes.
This box has a red pink and white water marble design, and like always, the box comes with a little menu card explaining the contents inside.
Like the name suggests, this box is themed around textured hair, so those with wavy, curly or coily hair. I have very wavy hair, so this box was ideal for me.
The first product inside the ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box is the Shea Moisture Red Palm Oil & Cocoa Butter Curl Stretch Pudding 340g which is worth £12.99, which is worth more than the box alone.
Then we have the Cantu Avocado Hydrating Curling Cream 340g which is worth £7.99. I’ve seen a lot of people raving about this product as part of the Curly Girl Method, so I’m excited to try it!
The item everyone was losing their mind about within the ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box is the Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector 100ml worth £26! It’s crazy that this product was included in a £12 box, and it’s so exciting!
Now on to the mini products in the box, the first of the two minis is the Living Proof Frizz Intense Moisture Mask in a 30ml sample size worth £4.95.
The last product and another mini is the Ouai Curl Crème which is also 30ml, and worth £3.17, and it’s the Fragrance Free version of the curl cream.
The minis really are small, and with hair as long as mine I’ll only get one use from each one, but the star products are the three full sized gems within this box, especially the Olaplex No.3. Make sure you keep checking to see if it had restocked right here.
