ASOS launches a beauty box every month, and the ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box is one of two beauty boxes available for the month of May. Both boxes are hair themed, and ones for textured hair, and the other is all about repairing damaged hair.
ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box
I managed to buy the ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box on launch day, and I bought the ASOS Textured Hair Must Haves Beauty Box four days after it launched, as they keep being restocked.
If you want to get your hands on the ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box, I’d recommend checking right here for when it’s restocked, as it was available at the time of typing this post up.
Both of the ASOS May Beauty Boxes are £12, and there’s no denying, the May boxes aren’t anywhere as good or as exciting as their previous boxes.
Maybe it’s because they made two, they didn’t make one-star box, but the ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box is a little disappointing compared to the usual ASOS boxes.
What makes the ASOS beauty boxes so popular, is the fact they nearly contain full sizes exclusively , but this box has some really very small samples. The Textured Hair Box is infinitely better, but let’s take a look at the ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box….
First up is a ridiculously small 15ml sample of the We Are Paradoxx Repair 3-in-1 Conditioner worth £1.20. I’ve seen people rave about this sample being in the box, but let’s be realistic, it’s the size of a £2 coin, and it’s a hair conditioner.
Next is another very small sample, and it’s the Beauty Works Argan Serum Oil Daily Treatment which is 30ml and in a sachet. It’s worth £4.49, and is 100% vegan.
Then we have the Olaplex No.8 Bond Intensive Moisture Mask in a small 20ml size worth £5.20. This product was the only reason I bought this box, but I didn’t realise it was such a small sample. This mask only launched in March, (as revealed here), so it’s exciting that it’s included within the box as it’s raved about so often on TikTok.
One more sample size product, and it’s the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Hair & Scalp Shampoo in a 60ml size worth £10. You can actually buy this shampoo in the 60ml size, and it’s another cult favourite within the beauty community.
The ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box only featured one full size product, and that product is the Frank Body Caffeinated Scalp Scrub 125ml worth £13.95.
It’s such a shame this box had only one full sized product, especially when you compare it to the Textured Hair Beauty Box, which is also available for the month of May.
If I’d managed to get hold of the Textured Hair Beauty Box, I definitely wouldn’t have purchased the ASOS Hair Repair Beauty Box as this isn’t the best box, but I’m excited to see what June brings, and whether it’s going to be a Pride themed box. Keep checking here, if you’d like to get your hands on this box.
