I’ve shared the ASOS The Weekender Beauty Box contents with you, and now it’s time for the ASOS Grooming Get Away Box, which are the two ASOS August 2021 beauty boxes available for this month. Keep on reading to take a look inside this box…
The ASOS Grooming Get Away Box is £12, just like the Weekender Beauty Box. The prices vary month to month, depending on the value inside, and this month’s offering is one of their more budget-friendly boxes, and it’s still available on the ASOS website.
The theme of the ASOS Grooming Get Away Box, is surrounding trips away you might have planned, just like the beauty box for the girls, except this box is themed around male grooming for the guys, with six products inside.
Again, just like the Weekender Beauty Box, the ASOS Grooming Get Away Box doesn’t carry a value amount, instead, ASOS claim the contents inside this £12 box give you a saving of 69%, so let’s see what’s inside….
First up is the Revolution Skincare Protecting Boost Moisturiser SPF15 in a 50ml full size, which is worth £10, and a good start to the box. It’s a great moisturiser, with added SPF for protection, and is cruelty free and vegan too.
Next up is the Elemis Superfood Facial Wash 30ml, which is worth £5.80. It’s always exciting whenever Elemis is included within any beauty box, and this is a really nice face wash.
Then we have the Glow Hub Zip Zap Wand, which is full size and worth £6. It’s a roll-on blemish treatment, and I’m tempted to try it myself, as I’ve been dying to try Glow Hub.
The ASOS beauty and grooming boxes love Carmex, and this box contains the Carmex Vanilla Ultra Moisturising Lip Balm Stick worth £3.50, and it’s full size with SPF15 too.
The next product in the ASOS Grooming Get Away Box is the Murdock London Sea Salt Spray 50ml, which is worth £8. I think the box would’ve been better to include a styling cream, wax or gel, as a salt spray isn’t going to work for men with short or shaven hair, but it sounds like a great salt spray, and find out all about Murdock London over at Alfie B-Smith.
Lastly, the box includes the Barber Pro Brightening Face Mask worth £4.95. The other box included a sheet mask too, so I like that both boxes feature one.
Overall, I think this box is slightly better than the ASOS The Weekender Beauty Box. Maybe not in terms of value, but for the weekend away theme, and the other box contains two cleansers, which is unnecessary. If you like the look of this grooming box, it’s available right now.
