I have raved about the Artiscent Atelier fragrances before, and the Artiscent Atelier Santal Frais Eau de Parfum is just one of the fragrance dupes on offer for the men.
I’ve featured the Artiscent Atelier Patchouli Passion Eau de Parfum which is a dupe for Lancome La Vie Est Belle, and also the Artiscent Atelier Paradis Gourmand Eau de Parfum which is a dupe for YSL Mon Paris.
Artiscent Atelier Santal Frais Eau de Parfum
There are over 20 fragrances in total, and they’re priced between £9.99 and £15.99, in 50ml and 100ml bottles. There are a lot more scents for men, as there’s body sprays for men, whereas women only have Eau de Parfums.
The Artiscent Atelier brand is Superdrug’s exclusive, cruelty-free fragrance brand, and the brand has gained traction thanks to TikTok as all of their fragrances have been created to be dupes for highend fragrances..
From my understanding, there are more fragrances to choose from instore, but on the Superdrug website, there’s 23 Artiscent Atelier products in total, but some fragrances have since been discontinued, with new scents being introduced.
The Artiscent Atelier Santal Frais Eau de Parfum is said to be made by perfumer Benoît Lapouza, with the following notes, which are listed on the back of each of the Artiscent boxes:
- Bergamot, Green Apple, Geranium, Cinnamon, Amber, Musk Vanilla
I have to admit, the packaging looks so much more luxe on the male fragrances, compared to the women. The Artiscent Atelier Santal Frais Eau de Parfum has a cobalt blue coloured glass bottle, with a flat lid, and textured label on the front.
Whereas the women’s fragrances are either white or pink opaque glass bottles, which look a little cheap in comparison, and they have rounded ball shaped lids.
Hugo Boss Boss Bottled is my favourite male fragrance after Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb, so I decided to purchase the Artiscent Atelier Santal Frais Eau de Parfum for my OH to try, to see if he thought it was comparable?
It is very similar once first spritzed on the skin, but it becomes a little warmer as it dries down, but for under £10 it makes a very great alternative if you’re on a budget, or you’re just wanting to try a few ‘dupe’ fragrances to see which you like before purchasing the full size.
