Yesterday, Trendmood revealed the newest upcoming launch from the ABH; the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Stain. This week they’ve already announced the return of their once discontinued Brow Pen, and the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Stain is a brand new product entirely, to their lip product collection.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Stain
ABH already have a range of liquid lipsticks, which last really well on the lips so it’s interesting that they’d choose to create a lip stain formula, in addition to their extensive range of liquid lipsticks.
I don’t know why, but Anastasia Beverly Hills doesn’t seem like the kind of brand that would do lip stains, as their products are known for creating ‘Instagram makeup’, and lip stains aren’t really that popular right now.

It kinda feels like a throwback to when the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains were popular in 2012. It’s all about the glossy lips right now, so it does feel strange to go down the whole lip stain trend, but perhaps a lip stain trend is on the cards for fall/autumn, with the Victoria Beckham Beauty Cherie Lip Stain recently launching too.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Stain is described as being a brand new lipstick formula, with a very pigmented and lightweight formulation which tints your lips and dries completely for a matte finish.

The packaging is giving me Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink vibes, and the flocked doefoot applicator looks very similar, so I wonder if that’s the product type they’re going for with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Stain?
