I am a big fan of the Aldi beauty department, especially their dupes, but the Aldi Lacura Dream Big Benefit Hoola Bronzer might be one of their most exciting launches to date, and they’ve launched a Benefit Cookie Highlighter dupe too.
This isn’t the first time Aldi have created a Benefit Hoola Bronzer inspired powder bronzer, as they launched their Aloha Bronzer a few years back, and whilst it was visually similar, beauty experts didn’t find the formulas to be similar. So the new and improved Aldi Lacura Dream Big Bronzer is a very exciting addition to their range.

Aldi Lacura Dream Big Benefit Hoola Bronzer Dupe
“The Lacura Bronzer is the perfect addition to your make-up routine. It’s beautiful bronzer will leave your skin with a stunning beach tan glow. Make this a new favourite in your beauty collection.”
The old Aldi Lacura Aloha Bronzer used to be £5.99, however the Aldi Lacura Dream Big Benefit Hoola Bronzer Dupe is more affordable at just £4.99, and I had to order it as soon as it launched today, as it really does look like a very promising dupe.
Aldi Lacura Dream Big Bronzer: £4.99 and contains 8g
Benefit Hoola Bronzer: £27.50 and contains 8g
In terms of packaging, the Lacura Dream Big Bronzer is packaged in similar packaging to Benefit Hoola, with a magnetic cardboard box, with a mirror inside the lid, and a squared brush for application; just like Hoola.
The pan has a rippled design, to look like rippled sand, and the box features a really pretty tropical floral design. It’s so nicely presented, it’s hard to believe it’s under £5.
Just like the original Hoola Bronzer, the Aldi Lacura Dream Big Bronzer also has a matte finish. I can’t wait to do a comparison post between the Aldi Dream Big Bronzer and the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, to see if the formulas are in fact identical? I’ll be sure to share my comparison post very soon….
