Aldi are forever launching new beauty dupes, and the Aldi Lacura Collagen Lip Oil is the latest beauty launch from the retailer. There’s absolutely no doubt that this new lip oil is ‘inspired’ by Charlotte Tilbury, and at just £2.99, it’s a super affordable alternative. Keep on reading to find out more…
Aldi Lacura Collagen Lip Oil
The Aldi Lacura Collagen Lip Oil is £2.99, and contains 8ml of product, within a white, squeezy plastic tube. The tube also features a gold foil geometric design, and looks quite chic for a £3 lip oil.
This lip oil looks extremely similar (visually), to the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Elixir. The Charlotte Tilbury version is £28, so there’s a massive price difference between the two.
There’s no mention of the Aldi Lacura Collagen Lip Oil having a rollerball applicator, like the Charlotte Tilbury version, but the white tube packaging is very similar.
There’s also a big difference between the ingredients lists, as the Charlotte Tilbury version is said to feature “8 magic ingredients” to plump, hydrate and reduce the appearance of vertical lip lines. Whereas there are no similar claims from Aldi.
Charlotte Tilbury originally launched a clear shade, when the lip oil first launched, but they’ve since introduced two more shades to the range. Whereas Aldi describes their Aldi Lacura Collagen Lip Oil as being available in a range of gorgeous nude shades, which are great for everyday wear, adding a subtle yet stunning plump to your pout, and the Aldi Lip Oil is available right now.
